Cumberland bay is an excellent anchorage off the town of Juan Bautista, although deep it has good protection from the prevailing weather. It is however open to anything from the north east. Whilst not a full port of entry, you can check into chile here, your passport will be stamped, and a domestic zarpe will be issued.
