About this Anchorage
Another stunning anchorage off Estero Comau, with a massive waterfall, and slightly better protection from the prevailing wind than its neighbours.

We didn't find any hiking trails ashore, however there was a short trail heading up to the waterfall on the north side of the bay.
On the south side, there is a huge waterfall which you can motor right up to, the Italian book talks about getting the bow under the water, when we tried we could see the rocks at the foot, but can definitely get within a couple of meters. It does shallow to the east immediately afterwards, so its worth checking at low tide if you are planning anything for the 'gram.

The anchorage here is surprisingly well protected from the prevailing westerly wind which funnels through the entrance.
Anchoring Notes
We dropped the anchor in 60 ft of water and ran a line to shore just to the east of the small waterfall. A better spot is probably on the north side of this little bay, as getting lines ashore here at low water would have been a rail pain. It's generally very steep to, we were in 50ft of water about a boat length from shore, but there is a shallow section extending out from the waterfall.
