About this Anchorage
Like Gato Y Toro, Punta San Telmo is surrounded by dramatic sandstone cliffs, and makes for a pretty anchoring location. We've only spent one night here, in northerly weather and it provided pretty decent protection from the prevailing swell, but not as much as Bahia San Marcial.
Anchoring Notes
In northerly weather, anchor in the northwest corner, being careful to avoid the offlying rocks. It isn't deep enough to tuck right in, so in poor weather you're better to be in San Marcial, or El Gato.
In southerly weather anchor of the beach on the north side.
