About this Anchorage
Punta de Mita is a large open roadstead with some protection from the north, although the swell invariably wraps around, or in southerly weather comes right in.
Handy place to wait for a day or two before heading north, but there are often reports of thefts from boats here, so keep your equipment locked aboard at night.

Anchor anywhere off the shore, watch out breakers forming closer to land, we anchor in 20ft.
Landing via dinghy is behind the western most breakwater. If just dropping off crew you can use the panga dock, but you can't leave your dinghy there.
