Painted Cliffs anchorage is a beautiful place to wake up, the cliffs in the morning light are really quite spectacular, although we think the best colours are actually found in Bahia Cobre, the next bay down.
This is also a good southerly anchorage if the weather in Bahia Salinas is too wild.
Anchoring Notes
Anchor in 20-30ft a fair distance off the shore, which is foul. There are some isolated rocks in the anchorage which are charted in Navionics and mentioned in the various cruising guides.
