Monument bay is a large bay providing northerly protection on the south east end of Isla Tiburon. There is a wide pebble beach, and good views south over to Isla Turner.
I've only spent one night here, but it was a calm and pleasant rest from a strong north westerly wind, which then clocked to a north easterly wind as the sun set. As I got within about 2 miles of the island, the wind diminished significantly, its hard to say if this was due to the island or simply the wind abating.
Overall it was a nice stop, and would like to come back here and spend some more time exploring the area.
Anchoring Notes
I anchored in 20ft over sand, tucked into the north east end of the bay. This gave good protection from the evening land breeze which was blowing.
