Lalo Cove is a sweet little bay tucked in under the peaks of tetakawi. The bay is only big enough for one or two boats, and offers good protection from prevailing northerly winds, but is wide open from anything from the west.
There's nice snorkelling around the rocks along the shore. You can land on the beach and scramble up tetakawi, but the better approach is going up from the highway, either walking up from the beach, or from San Carlos proper.
Anchoring Notes
Check your pilot book before getting to close here, as there's a reef awash near the entrance.
Once inside we anchor in 20ft over sand, usually in the southern half which seems to have more sand, watch out of rocky patches.
