About this Anchorage
Anchorage can be taken pretty much anywhere in the bay around La Ventana and El Sargento, and in calm weather it can be a nice stop. It's called La Ventana for a reason and the afternoon thermals can be quite uncomfortable however, and its generally got no protection from the prevailing wind or swell.
That said, in calm weather if you're camped out in Punta Gorda, or you want a break on your way between Muertos and La Paz, this is a good option too.
Anchoring Notes
Anchor over sand close to the beach in about 20 ft. You can anchor pretty much anywhere in the bay, just look out for rocky spots, you may want to set a trip line if you are not sure you are anchoring on sand.
Watch out for afternoon thermals.
