The enchanted islands have a lot of potential in the right weather, there are plenty of rocky islands and reefs to snorkel, ashore there are numerous peaks which can be hiked, but unfortunately there are only one or two marginal anchorages.
These are not the best spots for any one thing in the sea, but given the right weather its well worth stopping off here as the scenery is quite dramatic. The islands are formed from volcanic ash and debris, which makes quite a sight.
Anchoring Notes
Anchor over 20ft of sand either side of the rocky reef on the south west side of san luis island. Be careful here as the spit extends all the way to the main land, and is very shallow.
You can also anchor in 15-20ft over sand in the north cove of the islet to the north west.
