About this Anchorage
This is a good spot to stage a trip into Kino, it's a much more protected anchorage than you are going to find from northerly weather than anything close to Kino town itself.
The beach is pleasant, and there are some nice sea caves to the south, and the wider bay makes for some good kayaking and exploring. Watch out for the strong tidal flows however.
Anchoring Notes
We anchored in 20ft over sand in the middle of the bay. Swell tends to wrap around from either side, we might prefer to tuck in on the south side next time, but it wasn't too bad given the weather outside.
