About this Anchorage
One of my favorite anchorages on the Sonoran coast, Bahia San Pedro is only 8 or so miles from San Carlos, but it feels a world away.
There's a good amount of protection from most prevailing weather, the pebble beach and area is nice for watching the sunset and wandering around, and it's a welcome break from the hustle of town.
Anchoring Notes
Anchor in 20ft over sand, we favor the north side, tucked into the northwest corner, but watch out for mooring balls from the fishing fleet.
In flat calm weather you can anchor in any of the bays to the north of san pedro in 20ft over sand too.
