About this Anchorage
Bahia San Francisco is a wonderful bay best suited to calm or southerly weather, although if you are bold you can get some decent northerly protection by anchoring in the little slot.
Ashore there are a bunch of beaches to wander along, a small fishing resort which has wifi and is generally friendly to cruisers.
In the water there is good snorkeling along the rocky point to the east, and up to the bays in the west.
Anchoring Notes
Anchor in 15-20ft of water over sand off either of the beaches. There is a small slot you can also enter, we haven't but the depth appears to be at least 6ft at the entrance at low water.
